We are working with a rapidly expanding consumer electronics business seeking a talented Lead Backend .Net Developer to join their team. This newly generated position will see you working on the next phase of their in-house app-based products, as they continue to experience unprecedented growth.
As the Lead Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building highly scalable backend systems using .NET Core. You will work closely with their existing development team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
The role can be worked remotely, but you will occasionally be required to attend on-site project milestone meetings and stakeholder engagement updates, typically no more than 4-6 times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and building highly scalable backend systems using .NET Core
- Working with the existing development team to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and define project scope
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs
- Providing technical guidance and support to other team members
Technical Skills Required:
- Essential: .NET Core building backend systems, AWS, .Net Core 5 / .Net 6, Tech stacks: c#, asp.net, .net core, SQL
- Desirable: RDS, Fargate, ECR, ECS, Batch, S3, Api Gateway, Kinesis Video Streams, CloudWatch, Azure – App Services, SQL Server, Application Insights, Angular 8+, Apache Kafka, Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, GitLab, Jira, Confluence
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in building backend systems using .NET Core
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
