Mercury Hampton Contract is supporting an automotive manufacturing group with their next phase of new product launches. As a result, we have requirements for highly skilled mechanical design engineers to complement an existing design department.
This mechanical design work will be hybrid, split between site-based activity and operating remotely from home.
The work has been determined to fall within inside IR35 and will be for an initial duration of 6 months, however, there is a strong chance of the engagement requiring between 12- and 18-months’ worth of support.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
To be considered for this contract assignment, it’s critical that you have practical experience and competencies in the below areas:
- Design experience on Creo software package – Essential
- Elements / Parametric / Illustrate all considered
- Experience with former Versions of Creo also considered: Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate, and ProductView
- Surface Modelling Experience on past contract assignments – Essential
- Generation of design models combining three-dimensional surfaces and solids
- Conversion of design models to procedural surfaces, taking advantage of associative modelling
- Validation of imperfections with surface analysis tools
