Mercury Hampton is supporting one of our Project Consultancy Partners in identifying 2 Project Support Managers on 9–12 month assignments.
On the back of securing X2 new recovery projects and continued unprecedented customer demand the requirement for this assignment is urgent. Beyond the initial contract engagement, there will also be options for full-time staff positions.
THE ROLE OF THE ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER:
The project support specialist will be deployed onto an end customer automotive manufacturing facility as part of a specially selected Project Recovery Team.
Working closely with the Senior Project Managers, you and your team will be responsible for re-mapping a new vehicle prototype project from cradle to grave. This is an existing project that has gone off piece from a costing, supply chain and parts perspective.
Your end goal will be to rectify the bottlenecks and to get this critical project back on track.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS:
- Manufacturing Project Management Experience
- Automotive Experience – Strong Desirable
- Project Scheduling Experience
- Project Planning
- Cost Management
- Tooling and Parts Management
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The project requires suitable project professionals who will be available to start on site, within 1-2 weeks. The 2 options for site are Cheshire or West Yorkshire.
