SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER/TECHNICAL SERVICES

Position: Senior Network Engineer / Technical Services / LAN Level 3

Location: Warrington, Northwest UK

Working Pattern: Hybrid working week / 2 Days office-based vs. 3 Days remote

On-call every 5th working week

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 pa. / + £4,100 on-call rate

Mercury Hampton is supporting one of our Digital Tech partners through a period of significant growth. This assignment will be a key hire for the company as the successful Network Engineer will be supporting several large public & private sector users.

THE ROLE OF THE NETWORK ENGINEER:

As the senior POC for several critical accounts, it’s imperative that you are used to working well under pressure to support with maintaining the expectations of the pre-agreed framework service level agreements.

You will have responsibility for supporting all network and security infrastructure (MLPLS/ LAN / WLAN / Firewalls) management and monitoring of core network systems in the Network Operations Centre.

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS FOR THE NETWORK ENGINEER:

• Extensive knowledge of MPLS/ LAN / WLAN management, Cisco ISE & DNA, Cisco, Meraki
• Extensive experience of supporting and understanding of Firewalls; Cisco Threat, Juniper, & Fortinet
• Extensive experience of CISCO products including, AnyConnect, ISE, DNA Centre, SDWAN
• Experience with service providers or enterprise network environments

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
