Hourly Rate: £35 – £45 / 37 hours per week

Mercury Hampton is exclusively supporting a large de-com project over an 18-month period. Due to the scope of the work extra engineering resource is needed via professional contractors who have previously worked on projects with a minimum value of £5 million within a hazardous engineering environment, including, but not limited too; COMAH Regulated Sites, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Power Plants, Oil and Gas.

PROJECT SCOPE

  • Advice and guidance on site standards including Surveys, Disconnections and Handover support to Decommissioning Electrical dedicated team.
  • Site knowledge including Electrical services and Cable routes
  • Alternative circuit supply points strategy including Optioneering, Engineering, Cable routes, Fault protection studies.
  • Fuse protection support in-fuse size selection
  • Assist with the SRCC and SREC process.
  • Specification, Quotation and order processing, supervision of Install, testing and commissioning.
  • Feed into the development of Area assessment and Decommissioning disconnections docs.

 

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Recognised Electrical Engineering Qualification – HNC / HND / Degree
  • 10+ Years Industry Experience
  • Sizable Project Experience – £5 mill +
  • Project & Programme Planning Experience
  • Contract Management Experience
  • NEBOSH or IOSH as a minimum
  • IT Skills – competent with the ability to use and interpret spreadsheets.

INTERVIEWS
