Job Title: VDI Engineer / Network Engineer / VDI Level 3
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Working Pattern: Hybrid working week / 2 Days office-based vs. 3 Days remote
On-call every 5th working week
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 pa. / + £4,100 on call rate
Mercury Hampton are supporting one of our Digital Tech partners through a period of significant growth. This assignment will be a key hire for the company as the successful virtual desktop infrastructure engineer will be supporting several large public & private sector users.
The Role of the VDI Network Engineer:
The VDI network engineer will provide support to customers, both remotely and at customer premises, across multiple technology areas with a focus on desktop virtualisation technologies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage SLA tickets logged in the IT Service Management System (ConnectWise)
Experience with support and implementation of any of the following desktop virtualisation technologies:
- Citrix
- Horizon
- WVD
Datacentre Virtualisation Technologies:
VMware ESXi, HyperV, XenServer, SAN technologies, Converged Infrastructure
Network Technologies
TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS, Firewall etc.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
