The Role: Area Sales Manager – Chemicals
- Manage your territory of the M62 corridor, to grow turnover through a 60/40 mix of existing account development and new business generation
- Added value selling – discussing customer requirements in detail to provide bespoke formulations to improve their performance / reliability
- Working from home you will have autonomy regarding your diary, with only occasional trips to head office
- Regular reporting and internal communication is essential, they’re not micromanagers so keeping on top of this and managing upwards will help!
You will need:
- Chemistry / chemicals background, through either qualification or experience
- Proven sales experience
- Living in the M62 corridor such as Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Bolton, Stockport, Oldham, Wigan, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, York, Hull, Sheffield, Wakefield, Daresbury.
