As part of their global growth plan, they are now looking for an experienced senior salesperson to target the Electronics manufacturing industry.

You will have extensive sales experience in the electronic manufacturing and assembly markets, ideally you will have a technical / engineering degree electrical, electronics and or electro-mechanical. Focusing on developing key relationships and sales opportunities with major German, Austrian and Switzerland OEM customers and then networking these customers globally.

 

The Role

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced sales professional to further develop their career with a world leading business and true engineering innovator!

They are looking for an outstanding individual who is driven and ambitious who can develop an international sales region. This will be a home-based position with regular travel throughout the sales region. We anticipate that you will travel 40% of the time, you will take responsibility for high level negotiation and complex solution selling into the electronics sector. Working with OEMs at concept and design stage, and then growing these customers into key accounts. As well as determining new markets and new opportunities. You will work with the global sales team and innovation team to develop new products and new markets. Working closely with major OEMs in this key manufacturing region, this region is critical to their EMEA growth strategy.

You will also assume the ‘senior’ position within the global sales team, acting as the bridging gap between the commercial team and the Sales Director. This will involve further accountability by offering your support, guidance and on-going coaching during the project sales process and adding value and direction to the marketing teams.

The successful candidate will have experience of selling engineering products electro-mechanical components, motors, brush motors, Actuators, gearboxes, or complex component and of winning INTERNATIONAL multi-million designed in OEM solutions! We are not looking for current man-management experience it’s not essential, but ‘leadership’ qualities are a MUST! You will ideally be educated to Degree standard in an engineering and or technical discipline, we are looking to speak to dynamic sales professionals with ambition and drive, who want to self-develop and grow with a World leading manufacturer
