A superb opportunity to move into a field sales role within a project-focused capital equipment sales business. This manufacturing business in the mechanical and engineering sector, regularly process orders ranging up to half a million pounds.

This will be a home-based field sales position post-pandemic, but in the interim, it will involve outbound phone and video conference selling. There is flexibility surrounding the area as this search is candidate focused and will be decided on in conjunction with the successful applicant based on their location. That said you will be based somewhere south of Birmingham e.g. West Midlands, South West, South East or East Anglia.
The responsibility of the Area Sales Manager is to drive sales enquiries and quotations amongst M&E contractors, specialist distributors and commercial heating contractors. 70% of the onus will be on developing new business with 30% of your time being spent on maximizing opportunity within existing accounts.
The role reports directly to the UK Sales Director who is keenly succession planning to create a pool of talented people eager to slowly take on more responsibility and continue their campaign of year-on-year growth.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have a professional understanding of the M&E market and in some capacity have dealt with tier 1 M&E contractors and/or commercial heating contractors.
