Business Development Manager, Outsourced Manufacture
To £45,000 base with OTE £55,000, quality car + package
Our Client is leading manufacturer of food and drinks, they have real expertise in outsourced manufacture for major, blue-chip manufacturers. Already a significant part of the business, they have a strategic growth plan to further grow the proportion of outsourced manufacture and are therefore looking to hire an exceptional candidate to help them drive sales and growth.
Central to the role will be the ability to identify and actively target new major opportunities within existing customer accounts as well as attract new prospects inside the UK and overseas. You will work closely with the Head of Outsourcing to achieve sales revenue and profit objectives and introduce realistic and credible opportunities for consideration internally.
You will be an experienced sales professional with an excellent understanding of the FMCG manufacturing sector and be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of sales growth. In addition, you will need to understand manufacturing processes and be able to relate existing manufacturing capabilities to opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience of co-manufacturing and/or outsource models as well as a detailed understanding of packaging, quality and NPD.
