THE POSITION

Role

Export Sales Manager – Medical Devices

 

Location

Home-based. The right candidate can live anywhere within the UK, but would ideally live near one of these main UK airports: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, or London.

 

Responsibilities include

Our client is looking to enhance its global sales proposition in the medical industry. They are now looking to further develop their international reach and are looking for an experienced international sales leader from the medical industry to develop sales channels and win market share globally within the international medical/hospital sectors.

 

Industries serviced

This business is a leading supplier of complex medical technology products.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • This position would ideally suit a Sales Leader or senior BDM looking to step up.
  • You will take full responsibility for all export sales and some key UK accounts.
  • Your focus will be to set up their international [global] network, build a team across the world by utilising your Regional Managers in each region, and establish a network of agents and distribution partners.
  • Develop relationships across a diverse customer base, including: end-users, contractors, and consultants in both private medical and Government health bodies;
  • This hire plays a critical role in our client’s succession plans.

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • An outstanding proven track record in profitable sales growth.
  • Previous experience of managing P&L.
  • Ideally experience in setting up global sales channels distribution, sales agents, and regional managers within the medical industry.
  • A proven track record of winning international multi-million capital projects in the medical industry.
  • Ideally, engineering qualified (electrical or mechanical), however, experience will be prioritised over educational achievements.
  • Extremely high commercial skills.

  • £60,000 to £75,000 basic
  • £100,000 OTE
