A privately-owned manufacturer and solutions provider within the medical manufacturing industry. Their product range is diverse, ranging from power supplies to operating theatre lighting and complete operating theatre solutions.
As National Specifications Manager you will take full responsibility for all Power Systems, IPS and UPS solutions nationally for the business. This will involve providing technical support to the sales team and their clients throughout the UK and International markets, whilst assisting them at all stages of converting leads and opportunities into sales. Posts sales responsibilities will include after-sales support, installation, PPM, service, post-installation and warranty issues.
Day to day dealings will primarily be focused on working with electrical contractors, consultants and specifiers within the healthcare and medical industries; this will involve developing specifications and technical documentation for each project and communicate the qualified sales leads to the sales department. You will also be responsible for contributing to new product development with input to new ideas generation and the project selection process; whilst product championing for Medical IT (IPS), UPS, iTCP and earthing products; and liaising with suppliers to improve our product knowledge.
In this position you will be heavily focused on networking existing clients whilst supporting the company to win new sales projects. It’s a home-based role that will require regular face to face meetings with clients, and the sales team; once a month you will be asked to attend a sales meeting in at Head Office to discuss and share pipeline and on-going projects with peers and the leadership team.
This position reports directly into the Sales Director; he is looking to attract talented individuals into the business as they are currently building their management team ready for this next phase of growth.
