This company manufacturer large scale heavy duty industrial pumps. They operate as part of a global group of companies with offices in over 50 countries. This market leader is renowned in the heavy industrial markets Fuel additives, mining and quarrying, chemical, oil, chocolate confectionery, aviation fuelling and marine sectors for its technical and engineering capabilities and outstanding service delivery.
As Business Development Manager, you will have full control and autonomy to manage all day to day business activities relating to national industrial customers. This will include managing accounts with major heavy industrial corporate clients. Whilst managing your allocated accounts you will be a proactive sales professional who enjoys hunting and unearthing new clients and new projects, you will be selling full pump systems and design services as well as winning the associated service contracts. Ideally you will have experience of pumps moreover you will be a dynamic and enthusiastic new business winner. You will be able to advise clients on the correct pump selection for different applications to maximize efficiency.
This will be a home-based position but will require frequent office visits [Midlands] to ensure you are able to work closely with project, design and application teams. This customer base is currently generating a turnover in the region of £2M with room for upselling and crossing selling opportunities. We anticipate most of your time will be focused on new business acquisition and then the management of the new customers you win.
