This is a home-based, autonomous field sales position. The region within your remit will focus on north-eastern America with focuses on New York City, Washington, and Philadelphia with an accessible array of regional offices.
The responsibility of the Senior Business Development Manager is to drive sales enquiries, bid/tender opportunities and general market awareness amongst principle main building contractors and consultants.
The role reports directly to the global vice president of sales who is keenly succession planning to create a pool of talented people eager to slowly take on more responsibility and continue their campaign of year-on-year growth.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have a number of years’ experience in selling either a project focused heavy side building material e.g. architectural glazing, facades, facias or cladding and/or a subcontracted construction service. It is vital you can evidence in your background historic sales performance and be a driven, highly motivated classically trained salesperson. Candidates will meet the following criteria:
