Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR Director/VP of Human Resources to join their global business working from the company’s Austin, Texas location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, improve and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Partner with department heads to understand their needs and develop HR initiatives that support their teams.
  • Drive organizational development and change management initiatives to support the growth and transformation of the company.
  • Develop and maintain effective HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture, promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on leadership and strategy.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, local employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and influence decision-making processes.
  • Experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry (STEM markets)is highly desirable.
