Mercury Hampton has grown from a two-person startup to a global player in just six years. The company now operates in 22 countries, offering 26 services focused on culture, people, and performance solutions, with their performance services forming part of the business accelerator programme with Henley Business School.
Expansion into Contract
Three years ago, Mercury Hampton launched Mercury Hampton Contract, now rebranded as MHC. Matthew Cunliffe, the new Executive Director, leads this division.Matthew’s expertise spans project and workforce staffing in industries such as:
• Mechanical & Electrical
• Infrastructure & Civil Engineering
• Power & Energy
• General Industry
Prior to joining MHC, Matthew played a key role at LRL, where he joined during its early stages and worked closely with the Founder, ultimately becoming Managing Director of a £15 million turnover business. His decision to join Mercury Hampton was driven by the company’s strong growth and recognition, including being a finalist in the National Chamber of Commerce Awards last year.

With offices in North West England, London, Houston, and upcoming locations in the Middle East, Mercury Hampton is strategically positioned for continued global expansion, with Matthew stating: “We’re targeting £20 million turnover in the next five years.”
