Business Assessment

The first step is to understand the current state of your business.

Through discussion with all your stakeholders, we discover prevailing business aspirations and goals, capabilities, key challenges, and core processes. We also explore your current styles of leadership and management.

The purpose is to understand the landscape in which you operate and identify gaps in your strategic thinking.

Develop A Strategic Framework

We work with your leadership team to develop a coherent, robust strategic framework (explicit vision, mission, goals and core capabilities) for the business plus a clear, purposeful mission statement (for the leadership team and the organisation).

At this stage, the team will also benchmark itself against the six ti of a high-performing team and identify behaviours to change to become a more collaborative team.

The outcome is a set of strategic initiatives and short-term imperatives, as well as broad roles, responsibilities, and leadership style for the team.

Leadership Assessment

Using established quantitative and qualitive methodologies (including Bradley Smart’s ‘Top Grading’ process), we assess the leadership capabilities of the top team, individually and collectively. We identify the talent of each team member and agree together how best to deploy this in the context of the strategic framework. One of the outputs will be a personal development plan for each team member.

Build An Aligned Leadership Team

In step four, we accelerate the process of becoming a collaborative, cohesive and unified team.

Leaders learn how to work effectively with each other and how to influence others to achieve higher levels of performance. They also learn how to cascade the principles and practice of collaborative leadership to the rest of their organisation, accelerating the development of high performance throughout the business.

Develop Leadership Capability

Personal coaching addresses the development of everyone as a collaborative, high-performing leader and can help meet his/her development needs as identified in step three.

Individual coaching for all members of the leadership team takes place between the team programme modules.

Because we provide personal coaching in parallel with the team development programme, leaders observe and experience positive behavioural change in themselves and others in real time, which reinforces the overall agenda for change.
