To strengthen their commercial team, they are looking to secure a Business Development Manager to spearhead the UK sales effort across the renewable energy market – focusing on wind, solar and battery storage. 


What You Will Do: 

  • Develop sales prospects in the Renewable Energy Market with a specific focus on Wind, Solar and Battery Storage in the UK/Ireland and on the Re-Exportation market if needed. 
  • Maintain, develop and extend existing relationships, promoting product lines and services. 
  • Managing complex sales cycles from lead to closure, driving offer establishment and contract negotiations. 
  • Understand customer business drivers for both short- and long-term projects. 
  • Coordinate complex cross-division sales projects, recommending price models and frameworks that fit future business requirements. 
  • Has good insight into activities/capabilities/performance of local competition. 


What You Will Have: 

  • Relevant sales/business development experience and an established network with Renewable Energy Customers. 
  • Ideally qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline. 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. 
  • Strong technical abilities within automation and control systems. 
  • Team spirit-minded with a willingness to travel as much time as the business and people management requires throughout UK&I and (sometimes) Europe.
