We are working with a world-leading liquidity and data solutions specialist providing independent and unbiased over the counter (OTC) pricing data, market data and analytics to a variety of end clients including top tier investment banks, financial institutions, pension and hedge funds, charities, and energy providers.
They are seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience to manage the delivery of their new Communication Surveillance and Record Keeping program in the aim of avoiding market abuse such as insider dealing and market manipulation. As the project manager, you will collaborate closely with global stakeholders to ensure internal and regulatory requirements are met to control and conduct surveillance against market abuse offences.
Experience and Skills Required as the Project Manager:
Communications Surveillance and Record Keeping:
- Proven experience in project managing of large complex communication surveillance and record keeping systems e.g., Global Relay, Smarsh, Behavox, Enterprise Vault, Source One, TeleMessage or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of Compliance and Legal Record Keeping, and communication surveillance requirements and solutions.
Regulatory Technology Knowledge:
- 5-10 years in Regulatory Tech Project delivery.
- Strong and broad understanding of Regulations, and IT infrastructure, theories, principles, and practices.
- Proven experience of managing the delivery of complex multi-stream Regulatory Technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of the change management lifecycle and experience using change.
- Knowledge of SYSC, COBS, and MAR.
- Experience with major regulators e.g., FCA, CFTC, SEC, HKMA, etc.
- Experience in Regulatory Change at a major financial services institution.
Project Management Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, law, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as Prince 2, PMI or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in managing project governance and reporting e.g., RAID – Management/Escalation/Mitigation of Risks.
- Proven experience of managing the delivery of complex multi-stream Regulatory Technology projects.
- Exceptional working knowledge of all Microsoft applications especially, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel (advanced preferable, including macros).
- Held budget accountability for projects / programmes over £1m.
