Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects within the building product manufacturing sector from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, production, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate progress to stakeholders, and provide timely updates on project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot project issues, and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to building product manufacturing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar leadership role within the building product manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project budgets effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving them towards project objectives and deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing priorities.
- Proactive and purposeful approach, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, quality standards, and industry certifications.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
